accessibility statement

what we aim for

we build this site to meet WCAG 2.1 AA, the common standard for making websites usable by people with disabilities, including people using a screen reader or a keyboard instead of a mouse.

what we've done

• headings in a logical order, so the page makes sense read top to bottom
• alt text on images, so screen readers can describe them
• full keyboard navigation, with a visible outline showing where you are
• color contrast that meets the standard, which is why our pink and mint stay out of body text
• form fields with real, visible labels
• the page language set, so screen readers read it correctly

we're not done

accessibility is ongoing, not a one-time check. we keep working at it, and we know there's always more to catch.
